"It smelled like old Christmas decorations. And it was not a subtle place to stay in my opinion. We walked in and decided we couldn’t stay because of the conditions. It is cool but should be a museum not a rental. We asked if there was anything else and were told no. We had to get another place to stay. Would not recommend. "

"We had a short 2 night stay, but the place was perfect for us. Very clean and nice amenities. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Also short drive to the park entrance. The owners were quick to help and answer any questions we had."

"We really enjoyed this property. It is much like a camp which was comfortable and kitschy. If you are high maintenance, not the place for you but 99% of folks will love it. The outside deck is wonderful. Added 10 new birds to my life list. The most outstanding aspect of this property is the proximity to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. "Pros: The cabin was cozy, spacious, and clean, with a large living room. It had one room with two queen beds and another room with two single beds, which was great for our group. The kitchen and dining area were also clean and well-equipped. Cons: There’s no on-site laundry, but there are a few options nearby. The good review & clean laundromat is the Lakeside Market and laundry, about a 30-minute drive away."
