Swissotel Foshan

"I stayed at Swissôtel for more than 10 days, and although the first few days didn’t get off to the smoothest start, the way everything was handled completely changed my experience. On my first night, I had an issue with the air conditioning in my room. With the language barrier, I initially thought it might become a difficult situation, but the team immediately tried to resolve the problem and, when that wasn’t enough, arranged another room for me. I was subsequently upgraded as well, which was a very thoughtful gesture. On another evening, I experienced some unusual and unexpected knocks on my door, which made me uncomfortable. This is where I especially want to mention Ella, the manager. She handled the situation with such professionalism, care and genuine concern that I immediately felt reassured. From that point onwards, Ella truly left no stone unturned to make sure the rest of my stay was exceptional. She personally made sure I was comfortable, communication was always handled beautifully, and even the staff at breakfast became familiar with my preferences and made me feel incredibly well looked after. What impressed me most was that this didn’t feel like standard hotel service or simply an attempt to fix an initial problem. Over a stay of more than 10 days, the care and attention remained consistent throughout. A hotel can have beautiful rooms and facilities, but ultimately it is the people who make you remember a stay. Ella is one of those people."

"The hotel was beautiful- but the staff need some training. For example I went to the pool and the girl guided me through a random pool door and didn’t give me a towel. After my swim i had to go to the reception to get a towel while being fully wet. Also, The hotel provides swimming lessons to outside kids, which makes it very noisy, very few chairs which random parents occupy. This prevents the hotel from putting towels out at the pool."

"We enjoyed our stay here especially with the amenities for children with a good play area. You get what you expect with a Hilton hotel and we found it to be good value for money, but the hotel is definitely aging a bit. Also was disappointed that their bar only opened at 2pm. Aside from that, location was lovely, room was comfortable and staff were extremely kind and helpful."

"The hotel was across the street from the metro station with a mall attached. Great location and very convenient. The hotel is very well kept and staffs were very friendly. Will stay again when we are closed to that area."
