The accommodation is quite historical and cozy. There is a bar under it, open late at night for one last stop before going to sleep. People around are very nice. I can imagine the hotel garden in the summer, when more people are sitting outside.

Zimmer Upgrade war durch Online-Checkin unkompliziert möglich. Wir waren sehr dankbar, hier Hunde mit hinnehmen zu können und hatten ein sehr gemütliches Boxspringbett mit Topper. Alle super freundlich. Wir kommen wieder.

Noisy place, echoing, hear every single footstep anyone makes. Really dated decor that didn't match the picture on the website when booked. Beds not the comfiest, and creaky when you roll over. Shared bathroom clean and short walk to the centre was convenient.

Unsere Zimmer verfügen lediglich über Gemeinschaftsbad und -dusche auf dem Flur obwohl dies so nicht in der Anzeige stand. Zum Glück benutzte diese zu dem Zeitraum kein anderer Gast. In einem Zimmer standen 2 Einzelbetten obwohl zwei Zimmer mit Doppelbett gebucht waren. Die Zimmer und der Teil des Hotels in dem wir untergebracht waren war insgesamt in einem eher schlechten Zustand. Es waren Flecken an den Wänden, der Deckenventilator direkt über dem Bett war sehr staubig. Etc. Es gab eine Gemeinschaftsküche die offensichtlich seit längerem nicht geputzt wurde. Sämtliche Oberflächen waren speckig. Vorherige Gäste haben alles mögliche in den Schränken und im Kühlschrank hinterlassen. Es wirkt als würde sich niemand darum kümmern. Im Gefrierfach fanden wir unter anderem eine offene Packung mit ganzen Fischen und eine gefrorene Packung Käse. In einem der zwei Gemeinschaftsbäder stand eine kaputte Waschmaschine. Die Silikonfugen in der Dusche, sowie die Lüftung an der Decke waren verschimmelt. Auf Nachfrage konnten uns keine neuen Zimmer bereitgestellt werden. Es sei alles belegt, hieß es auf Nachfrage. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass wir von den o.g. Umständen ausgehen hätten müssen, da in der Beschreibung "B u. B" steht. (Dies soll Bed & Breakfast bedeuten - ich weiß aber noch immer nicht wieso man davon ausgehen sollte dann ein Zimmer mit Gemeinschafsbad zu bekommen). Alles in allem frech, vor allem für den Preis.

Sehr gemütlicher Gesamtkomplex

Zimmer teilweise ohne eigenes Bad, aber Gemeinschaftsbäder und -Küchen in ausreichender Anzahl und sehr sauber. Gesamtkomplex mit Cafe, Kneipe, gutem Restaurant und schönem Biergarten. Und alles sehr innenstadtnah und ruhig.

Leider waren wir über die Beschreibung und die tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten im Hostel enttäuscht. Unsere Erwartungen differierten stark, besonders in Bezug auf das Schlafarrangement (zwei separate Betten, die optisch wenig ansprechend wirkten) und die begrenzte Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeit (Spind). Wir hatten Schwierigkeiten mit dem Kleiderhaken in unserem Zimmer, und auf der Gemeinschaftstoilette fehlte Toilettenpapier, zudem war sie sehr dreckig. Das Fehlen von Shampoo oder Duschgel war ebenfalls überraschend. Leider war die Lärmbelästigung durch andere Gäste und die Hellhörigkeit des Hostels störend, was unseren Schlaf beeinträchtigte. Darüber hinaus wurden wir nachträglich um eine Tourismussteuer gebeten, von der wir zuvor keine Kenntnis hatten, und erhielten keine Quittung.

Die Lage ist sehr gut 👍. Das Hotel ist einmal was anderes, was mir sehr gut gefallen hat. Nur schade das es keinen eigenen Parkplatz hat.
