"First time I've stayed at Holiday Inn, what can I say it was great. I didn't want to leave, so much to do in Southend, and the hotel was above standard. From the minute I walked in, until I left my stay was comfortable, peaceful and just what I needed. I will return. Close to a small retail outlet, but it is quiet you wouldn't know.. and handy for the airport."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Brentwood M25, and the exceptional service from your team truly made our visit memorable. From the moment we arrived, Alice at the front desk welcomed us with outstanding customer service, making check-in seamless and pleasant. We also want to give a special mention to Julie, our greeter and waitress, who looked after us beautifully during breakfast each morning with her warm and attentive hospitality. Thank you to everyone for a lovely experience, and we look forward to staying with you again. Lewis Family"

"Well located close to the M20 and nearby Bearsted village, which is really picturesque. Wifi was really slow for me which was a bit of a pain. Room was lovely - ground floor with a small terrace onto the golf course. Leisure facilities are good. Cafe is a nice place to work."

The Ship Hotel

"We stayed one night in this hotel as we had a function in Leigh-on-Sea. The hotel looks like it’s been recently renovated. On arrival we were able to check in early and because it wasn’t full, park our car there. The room (No 5) on the first floor looked towards the estuary. No balcony which I knew when booking. The train Line is right in front of the hotel but didn’t disturb us. The room was very clean with all the usual amenities and air conditioning. The bathroom was spacious and ticked all the boxes. Unfortunately we didn’t eat there at night but the menu looks good. We paid for breakfast which was tasty - freshly squeezed orange juice, smashed avocado and poached egg, and flat white coffee. Check out was easy. Would definitely stay there again if we were in the area."
