"A unique spot and a unique room. Just be aware it is a typical old European(steep and narrow) climb to the rooms. Check in is in the bar/restaurant. They were very accommodating for my wife’s gluten allergy for breakfast and for supper. A little out of the way,but we used a park and ride to get into Amsterdam. "

"This property was beautiful and perfect for our family. It gave us space to share meals as well as having our own bedrooms. The owner was delightful - very friendly and helpful. The steps are very steep, however, which is typical of Dutch properties so be mindful if this is going to be a problem for you. The house is easily accessible and within walking distance to Schiedam as well as shops and dining options. We used a taxi from the train station. Can’t wait to be back and to stay here...

"After spending a week staying in cities, we were SO happy to take a breath and long walk in the countryside at this gorgeous farm. They have fully renovated, modern and impeccably clean suites inside its historic buildings. Rent bikes and bike into Haarlem — it’s such a charming area and picturesque as you bike there.
