"Wonderful place for a quiet getaway for a couple of nights. Scenic setting. Delicious breakfasts, helpful owners and staff on site. We'd book again!"

"I didn't see any staff members on site. When I went to the office to check in, I had to call a posted number. The person who answered instructed me how to process my credit card and program my room keys on equipment in the office. I accomplished both successfully. My room #103 was very basic, showing wear and tear, but clean. My bed was comfortable. The heating/ A/C unit was adequate, but outdoor temperatures were mild. The room door did not latch when closed normally, probably due to building settling. The deadbolt worked OK for when I was in the room. I found that, by lifting the door handle with the door closed, I could get the latch to operate, so I was able to lock the door and provide security for my belongings when I wasn't in my room."

"A great location for a number of cultural experiences in the Berkshires, and walking distance to the shops and restaurants of the town of Lee. The studio is small, but the murphy bed is incredibly comfortable so it has all the benefits of a hotel room, with the addition of a kitchen and a porch from which to watch the world of Lee go by."

"Clean newly renovated will stay again. Usually stay at Hampton Inn, but at this price it pays for dinner. Quiet. Roses restaurant next door is fabulous "

"When we arrived, the receptionist was pleasant and kind, our room was ready. When we asked for more towels, we did not have to wait for more than 5 minutes and we had them. The restaurant next door, Rose's cafe, is amazing!"

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Garfield House and hope to be back someday. Our host Jeff was responsive and available for anything we needed. The unit was clean and set up just as shown. Highly recommend to anyone interested in staying in a great Berkshire town."
