3 jours dans cette ville inconnue: un charme L'homme de l'hotel etait tres serviable et present Bel accueil Quartier tres tranquille Parfait pour notre gout Le seul hic etait de partager la salle de bains on a du attendre pour prendre notre doucge le soir et veds 23h quand on est fatigués c'est mokns agreable

Très bien, au coeur du centre historique.

Ce n'est pas un hôtel mais un B&B donc nous étions logées dans un appartement privé dont l'hôte était très aimable et parlait français très correctement. L'appartement était décoré avec goût. Il n'y avait qu'une salle de bain pour deux chambres et la douche avait une odeur peu agréable. Très bien situé en zone piétonne de la ville historique et par conséquent non accessible avec la voiture, excepté à certaines heures. Nous n'avions pas été prévenues et avons eu une contravention de 25€ que notre hôte va tenter de faire annuler !

Sehenswertes B&B in ehemaligem Kloster

Wir waren 4 Tage im Il Monastero, wurden dort vom Inhaber sehr freundlich aufgenommen, unaufdringlich beantwortete er unsere Fragen (englisch) immer hilfreich. Das Gebäude ist von außen eher unscheinbar, von innen dann hohe Gewölbedecken, sehr kunst- und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, für uns eine Augenweide. Die Lage ist zentralst, der Dom keine 5 Gehminuten entfernt, alle anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten ebenfalls fußläufig, eine Mittagspause für Pflastermüde somit immer möglich, Parkmöglichkeiten befinden vor dem Haus. Die erste Anfahrt bereitete uns ohne Navi, durch die zentrale Lage im Einbahnstraßensystem der Innenstadt, etwas Schwierigkeiten. Schon am 2. Tag fanden wir die Anfahrt aber unkompliziert. Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse gut, es gab täglich frisches Obst, Brötchen, Marmelade, Saft und guten Kaffee, deutlich besser, als in anderen Hotels, die wir vergleichen können. Wenn wir wieder einmal nach Lecce kommen, werden wir wieder dieses besondere B&B buchen.

Excellent accueil: l'avion ayant une heure de retard, le suis arrivée à Lecce en taxi vers 23h30; Le chauffeur ne pouvant entrer dans la zone piétonne fermée à cette heure, il a téléphoné au propriétaire, qui est venu me chercher en voiture.Il a toujours été d'une extrême disponibilité et compétence (renseignements sur adresses des restaurants, des magasins, des horaires de trains). Petit déjeuner soigné et abondant inclus dans le prix. Salle de bains à partager avec les occupants d'une autre chambre, sans problème.Détails à améliorer: éclairage tête du lit, tabouret dans la salle de bains, barre de sécurité dans la douche; je les ai signalés, et il en sera tenu compte. Ameublement et décoration modernes et originaux. Pas de TV ni de téléphone dans les chambres: peu importe! Terrasse intérieure fleurie. Rue calme à un petit quart d'heure du centre

In the heart of Lecce

Il Monastero is the perfect place to stay in Lecce, it's conveniently located in a quiet sidestreet and all the major attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, cozy, modern and historic at the same time. Most importantly, I felt "at home" from the minute I arrived until I departed. The owners are warm and friendly, always ready to help. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while in beautiful Lecce. Highly recommended!

Good Location

BB is located close to all the sites and is in a quiet location about 5 minutes walk from the Duomo. Stanndard of accomodation is excellent and the owner Mino was extremely helpful. Rooms are large but we found the toilet area very cramped and all our stuff ende up on the floor as there was no shelf space. The only downside for us was the fact that breakfast is not provided - you are given a voucher for a local cafe which does not sell fruit and when we asked for another coffee we were told we would have to paty for it. We had stayed in another BB in Lecce a couple of night before and breakfast included fruit/roles and as much coffee and fruit juice as you liked,
