"Clean, uncluttered, fun design, and smells and looks like great inside those 1895 walls. The staff was ultra-pleasant and helpful about the area. Breakfast : Good. We ate at Dom Zeferino on the next block over for dinner and had excellent fish at a great price. The beds are a 9 out of ten and the bathroom is spacious. The view over the pool and back patio was nice. Great A/C. Dark room at night with blockout curtains. No elevator so ask about help up the steps if you will need it with your luggage. Our room #4 had plenty of space to open two suitcases on the floor side by side. Loved it. Would stay there again. Parking garage down the street if you can’t park next to the hotel."

"The hotel is recent, and the facilities are new. The rooms are small, but clean and neat. No mini-fridge in room which would be appreciated. Breakfast is very basic continental. Overall good for a three star hotel."

"The Hotel was really nice. I wish the front desk was more helpful in telling us where some of the stores, bars, and things to do in this area. We were luckily enough to find a small grocery store not too far away. And also, some places to eat. The pool was never used by anyone while we were there. The water is much too cold. Solar heat might be an idea. The beach water was also cold so no swimming there either. Nothing you could do about that! Very clean hotel! We were surprised that there weren't any gift stores, beach bars along the beaches. Just a beautiful hotel sitting in a nice area with nothing around. You can only look at the Fort for so long. Maybe there were things to see, we were never told. The breakfast was really good! Sorry, I won't go back to Porto any time soon."

"I stayed here my first night of the Camino. It is conveniently located not far from the trail and to the beach. There are some restaurants in the area. I had a small single which was very clean. My k my complaint would be that the sewer smell from the drains came into the room. But I have had the same experience the last two visits I had to Porto at two other hotels so it may just be an infrastructure issue. Overall a good experience."

"The staff were incredibly kind--especiallythe night manager! He will do anything to take care of you. The location was great because NorteShopping was a two or three minute walk away. And an Uber can get you anywhere in the city in about 20 minutes. We will definitely be staying here again next year, but I hope to get a bigger room. My only real complaint was the size of the room and the amenities. Obviously, this is not a luxury hotel, but I am used to having a mini fridge and bathroom doors that lock. 😅"
