"Pros: The views of the lake are beautiful - especially during the fall when the trees are turning. Check in was easy (but had to call to get the instructions). The house is equipped with Roku tv and the bathroom has a heater. Cons: Zero response from the owner despite multiple direct messages through VRBO. Had to call customer service to get check in instructions - never got any for check out. Other: I’m glad I read prior reviews and knew the property was right next to neighbors and at the end...

"There is no air conditioning unit in the upper bedroom, and on a 90 degree day in August it was unpleasant. Also, their photos regarding puppies are inaccurate - they need to revise this listing - if you're hoping to see them, as my daughters were based on the description and photos. Also, the day of check-in, we were required to make a $1,000 damage deposit which - 4 business days later - has STILL not been refunded on my Visa and I've had to follow up several times. Very disappointed."
