"When we arrived, we were told that they did not hold a booking for us, as Expedia had cancelled our booking!!. It took over 4 hours for the hotel, myself and a guy from Expedia in the USA to semi resolve the issue. The hotel were wonderful, Expedia were blatant liars as they told the hotel that they had informed us of the cancellation, and had booked us into another hotel. Shame on you Expedia!! As the hotel had restricted accommodation left for our visit, we had to rearrange via Expedia to stay in another hotel for part of our stay. Unlikely to be using Expedia again which is very unfortunate as we have used them on numerous occasions over the years."

"Easy parking and checking in. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the shower was large and modern. The staff that we had dealings with in the bar/restaurant and on reception were helpful, polite, pleasant and engaging. A good experience. "

The double cell room I had was a large room with a comfortable bed and with ample storage for a suitcase. The breakfast was excellent with the hot items cooked fresh to order."

"Stayed one night for a short break, it was very comfortable and so clean. The staff were very helpful at storing luggage for us and very friendly and polite. Very central for everything in Oxford but room was still nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend and stay again. "
