Read the description carefully
The house was clean, the couches were comfortable and the bedrooms were nice. I needed to look carefully at the pictures to realize the bathroom shower was shown. The curtain covered the fact that it was an old deep bathtub and the shower head was for a giant. It was difficult to get into and out. There was a brief statement that the bedroom and bathroom were up stairs ( no picture of the stairs). The kitchen was good with all the necessary utensils. However, I didn’t know what kind of coffee maker so I didn’t bring any coffee. Coffee filters were there but no coffee. I would have brought pods or coffee if I knew ahead of time. Every other rental we stayed at had coffee available. We were only there for two nights and didn’t want to spend time going to the grocery store. The hot tub was great. Clean and easy to use. They need a mat by the door instead of dripping onto the floor. The company was easy to reach and responses were quick.

Sweet little spot in the mountains
This place was perfect. Views of Elbert and Massive from outside the house call you to the mountains. The house is walkable to Safeway for groceries and downtown to ship or go out to eat. House has vibes of old school miner cabin which we loved. Hot tub was an added bonus!

Perfect getaway
We just loved this house in a nice neighborhood just down the road from downtown. We highly enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful light that comes in the kitchen windows in the morning. The vents in the floor of the bedrooms are a bummer if anyone's trying to sleep in, but we found that laying pillows over those vents does a good job of blocking the noise. We definitely plan to stay here again!

Love the hot tub, but really wished they’d figure something else out for the tub upstairs. Shower curtain clings to you no matter what you do. Otherwise we have no other issues.

Misleading
Overall, we had a great stay. The hot tub was nice and the location was great. However, first impression... we got to the house and the door was wide open and a garden hose thrown in the entry way was leaking water. Next, the house smelled like dead mouse so bad! But all of that aside, the most disturbing and misleading fact about the house is that it's shared. The house has been fabricated so that someone can live in the dwelling. So, there is someone else living in the house that has a dog that barks first thing in the morning. If you're wanting a home to yourself, this is not that. Just FYI.

Good Location
Good location, close to downtown leadville and skiing. The hot tub was nice but the camera watched us the whole time, even though we were quiet and respectful. There were cobwebs throughout the house. Otherwise, the kitchen was well stocked aside from a coffee grinder.

Perfect weekend get away
Such a cute house in a quiet neighborhood. The grocery store is less than ten min away, and you're less than 20 min from all the major hiking trails. The hot tub was why I booked the property, but it was nice that their kitchen had all the needed cooking appliances. Will be booking in the future

Very nice
We spent two nights at this comfortable well furnished spot. Very convenient location. Pet friendly which included pet treats and a backyard. Only comment is that there was a very strong disinfectant smell on arrival-not a bad thing if you arent overly sensitive.

Worth the quirks
This was a great place to stay! My partner and I came here for a week stay with our reactive dog, so even though the yard was pretty small, it was great to have a privacy fence for us to be out there together. The hot tub and the grill were great after long hiking days, and the location is unbeatable—short walking distance from groceries, downtown Leadville, and close driving distance to many beautiful hikes. The only downsides were having to clean up after some leaks in the kitchen after a huge hail storm on day 2, and the bathroom has some evidence of black mold. The rest of the house was very clean and overall a cozy place to stay with our pup!

This is a great place to stay in Leadville. Nice place for the price. Hot tube was a great bonus to the place. It was only three of us, but if you have more people the one bathroom might be a problem. I would stay here again.

Great place for a small family
I was very pleased with my stay. The beds were very comfortable, as wete the couches. The kitchen is great and comes with full kitchen utensils. The only issues I had were small ones. The grill was a little dirty, but that was an easy fix. The remote to the TV in the living room was not connected to the TV at all. Luckily, I have a cable background so I was able to fix that too. The only other issue with the place was the hot tub. One of the main reasons I chose this place was the private hot tub. I never even used it. It had pine needles in it and there was no equipment there to aid in cleaning it out. The water had a ln odd color to it also. My daughter and her friend tried it out anyway, but they weren't in very long. Overall though, it was a great experience. Watch out for flying, stinging insects though.. during spring and summer obviously.

Dog-friendly, but some unpleasant surprises
This townhouse style VRBO offers enough amenities to place it in the "above-average" category for the location. It's aesthetically updated, mostly, but the longer you look the more problems you'll find. I needed a staycation spot that was dog friendly and this place was just fine. The shower curtain in the claw-foot tub touches your skin when you shower and I could tell it had not been cleaned very well. Please consider updating that shower situation. Also the vents between floors/rooms are wide open, so no sound-privacy. Don't be surprised to find there is a resident in the other side of the blocked off wall who left the garage door open for part of our stay.

Nice home but no heat
Unfortunately we had no heat the entire stay and with the high being 48 in the day made for very cold nights. The manager did get a handyman out after the first night but was not able to get it working and took me reaching out to find out later in the day. Received space heaters but upset to pay all that money for one night of no sleep and then space heaters the next. Hopefully they will make it right and refund some of the stay as I could have booked elsewhere.

Family Ski Weekend - Ski Cooper
My family of four stayed at this house in Leadville and skied @ Ski Cooper. We chose to stay at this property for our 3 night get-a-way, & we really enjoyed this house! We liked this house for few reasons. Positive reason #1) There was plenty of space for our family of four. On the main floor there is a good sized kitchen + family room/tv area. The upstairs had 2 good sized bedrooms that fit our family nicely. Positive reason #2) Another reason why we enjoyed this house was the hot tub and deck area off of the main level (this was a nice feature after skiing at Cooper all day!). One negative/downside of this house was controlling the heat/thermostat. It was pretty cold when we first entered the property, and thermostat "seemed to revert back to 65" even though we attempted multiple times to set the temp higher. This was not a deal breaker for our trip, but it definitely was a little chilly for us in the mornings. Overall - we enjoyed this house and would book again if we head up to Ski Cooper in the future for a ski weekend - thanks!

Disappointing, mice
The house was nicely decorated but not clean and the presence of mousetraps in the pantry indicated that mice may previously been a problem. When the mice appeared and began to chew on our things and leave mouse droppings everywhere, we tried to contact the provided 24/7 contact numbers. No one could be reached and we contacted VRBO. In order to provide help, VRBO wanted us to video the mice. Getting the mice to cooperate and appear on video was not only impossible but absurd. Eventually the next morning, we were able to reach the property management company who relocated us to another property. We wasted a day of our vacation by having to deal with this, pack up and move.

Very nice accommodations, it is an older home, which we liked because it had lots of character. The hot tub was awesome, made us want to get one. Shovels provide so we could clear off the deck and a spot for our 7 and 10lb dogs to go potty. The property has a washer and dryer which was great because we were able to repack all clean clothes.. We did bring our own detergent and softener. Fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill made cooking a breeze. The only thing we weren't fond of was the old time claw foot tub/shower, very small with tall sides and for elderly individuals getting in/out of might be a problem. It's located in a very nice, quite neighborhood, close to shopping, and your own parking spot. There is a tenant living in the back of the property but other than seeing a vehicle we didn't even know when they were home. My family had an awesome time and would definitely stay again.
