Located in the desirable Terry Peak Subdivision near Deadwood, South Dakota, this 3 bedroom + loft cabin offers the perfect space for families of all sizes to enjoy the outdoors. Up to 10 guests can relax comfortably and enjoy the wonderful views off the back double decks. It’s location provides excellent views with a wrap around deck, spacious main living area & beautiful picture windows make it one of our more popular vacation homes.

Main Level Highlights

Open Concept Living Space: Features a fully equipped kitchen, large dining table that seats 4, breakfast bar with additional seating for 2 and numerous picture windows that make the space bright & open feeling. A large TV is mounted in the living room and there are two couches & chairs for comfortable seating. This is a great space for everyone to gather.

Outdoor Living Space: A door from living room leads to a spacious covered deck with breathtaking mountain views, BBQ grill, patio seating, gas fire pit, and private hot tub.

The house is located on a road that loops around, providing a peaceful morning/evening walk. Hot tub, gas firepit & spacious deck were perfect for relaxing. Game room provided a fun break from the attractions. Beds were comfy.

It was a great place to stay! The home was perfect for our family! The adults and kids really enjoyed it. The hot tub was great; we used it every day. The extra game room was really nice too. The guys played a lot of pool at night. The kitchen has everything you could need. It was close to all the activities we wanted to do. We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely book this home again!

Original house wasn’t keeping heat so management adjusted us here and were gracious enough to allow the dogs still, no up charge at all. Was the right size with nice beds and plenty of room. Also close to the ski hill and still had the king bed we had wanted in the original place. Kinda missed having a real fireplace but can’t complain, we were plenty warm.

Could have been cleaner and lower level room was cold. Other then that a nice house and everyone had fun skiing. Very close to skiing which was really nice. Neighborhood was really quiet.

We were able to enjoy the property. We were able to spread out in this space. We would strongly suggest lighting over the hot tub area. Towels need to be switched out in main floor bathroom.

The house was very comfortable and the neighborhood on top of the mountain was a good location for us. The wrap around deck and hot tube were great spots to hang out. The living room was very roomy and the mud room worked great for our dog especially when it rained. We also took advantage of the separate game room with the bigger TV for movie night. The location is out of the way enough to offer a quiet setting but very close to lead/deadwood and Spearfish canyon. The only downside was there is not a door for the basement master bedroom which let all the noise from the kitchen filter down to the bedroom. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house.

Cabin was roomy enough for the 6 of us. I may have not read the location information well, but there are only 2 rooms with doors. While it states it sleeps 10, there is only 1 king in the basement, 1 queen upstairs, 2 full (those have the doors) and a hide a bed in the game room-detached from the main house, where there is no toilet. Needs a little maintenance outside.

It looks pretty darn good in the photos but not the same in person. Biggest problem for us was hot tub was cold, I notified the manager, they told me to reset the circuit breaker but of course that did nothing. They never did come attempt to fix it which sucks as that’s why we rented the place so we could sit in a hot tub after a day of skiing. The first night we had a crazy loud noise in the attic and the house shook every 5-10 seconds, come to find out it was a tree pushing on the roof of the house so we slept like crap that first night. The basement fireplace does not work and EXTREMELY COLD down there. The manager still has not replied to me about the basement fireplace issue. All in all I would never recommend this place nor this management company to anyone.

The pictures led us to believe that this property was a lot nicer than it was and more secluded. The outside area was not nearly as visually pleasing as the pictures made it look. Everything in this property needed updating from the tvs (even though we didn’t spend a whole lot of time watching tv) to the kitchen (the coffee pot was HORRENDOUS and the dish towels and dish cloths were pathetic. Have you ever heard of Walmart?) In the game room, which we did enjoy to the fullest of its capabilities, there was only one usable pool stick and even it was slightly broken. The dart board was also broken. A few rugs in the main living room area and the bathroom would go a long way. Complimentary soap in the shower would have been nice. The hot tub was nice, though a few pieces were loose or slightly broken. The pictures alluded to some form of seclusion which did not exist; the neighbors sounded like they were right next to you, and there was construction right nearby. The barbecue grill was a health hazard. It had to be deep cleaned to be safe to cook on and the front burners did not work at all. For the amount paid for a property like this we had higher expectations. A few positives, the beds were comfortable and the furniture was decent.The AC worked. The fire put out off a great flame. We appreciated that the property was pet friendly. In spite of it all we had a great vacation.

The location of the property was very convenient to Deadwood. Property was nice size for us and another couple. Very nice hot tub. Overall really comfortable.
