"We never saw or met anyone who worked there, but it wasn't necessary because of the excellent communication we received before checking in. We were provided with a phone number to text if we had any needs or questions and our text was returned promptly. We found the room spotlessly clean and in good condition. We especially enjoyed the front porch with the comfortable chairs where we could sit and watch the world go by with a backdrop of beautiful ponderosa pine trees. We recommend this place!"

" I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to camping or a cheap motel - the ‘yurts’ at Whitetail Creek were perfect. Comfortable double bed and plenty space inside, BBQ to cook my own dinner, and a large shared fire pit for evenings. Everything I needed, and run by friendly and competent people! Be aware that if it gets cold you’ll want all the blankets (ask for more if you need), and there is no electricity in the tent, but several electric lanterns for light. And it’s a couple hundred feet to the bath/shower house, but well lit so no worries at night. They also have cabins, for those that prefer four walls (the yurts are round)."

"Spent one night here with 5 adults. Home was very clean and as described. As is common in European homes and apartments, there was a staircase - this one being mildly circular. If you are elderly or have physical limitations, getting up and down with suitcases could be a little challenging. We put my elderly mother in the downstairs bedroom to avoid any possible falls. There is no living room but there is a dining room to gather. While the house is located near the main tourist area of Porto, we decided to walk to and from town and it took a good 30 minutes. And while we never felt unsafe, the walk does entail walking through what feels like more of a local, blue collar neighborhood. A Bolt or Uber might be preferable to some. Owners were friendly and spent time with us at check-in to go over Porto, places to eat, and things to see. We had a full size SUV rental car and while I appreciated having a place to park (one of the main reasons for booking this home), it was very confined and took some time to reverse the car and turn it around in order to head out through the narrow gate in a forward direction. It all worked out but certainly with the help of my husband directing me, watching walls, and guiding me through the gate onto the street. A smaller vehicle would be more ideal. "
