"I actually did not realize that this hotel is located in France rather than Switzerland until I noticed that my Swiss SIM card did not work. The hotel is new, modern and well furnished. The standard room is not big. The restaurant is good and very reasonably priced. It is right at the train station, from where it was about 20 minutes ride to Geneva. If you have Swiss Travel Pass, you need to buy an additional supplement fee for about 2euro one way to take the train."

"Good stop over on way to mountains "

"Annemasse is perfect to stay close to Geneva, but paying so much less for accomodation and food than in Switzerland. This is right at the border of France and Switzerland but you don’t notice it when crossing. Few minutes walk to the train station. Trains to Geneva every 10-15 mins or less until very late at night. Clean and fairly quiet hotel with a kitchenette perfect for any meals, even cooking your dinners. The price is unbeatable. Simple and convenient option to stay by Geneva. Pay attention when you buy your train tickets from the machines. You should see a price of a bit above 4CHF from Annemass to Geneva. Different train companies have different rates and you could end up with a hefty ticket price otherwise. Use the touch screen red machines for buying your train tickets. "

"Perfect location. Right outside the boarder of France and Switzerland. 30 second walk to the trams which takes you into Geneva Lake town in 10 minutes or smaller town a few stops away. Tram on the opposite side also takes you into France. Restaurants all around within 30 seconds or few mins walk. Property has a fridge and cooking equipment if you want a cheaper night in. Pharmacy nearby, mini grocery store. Safe to walk at night (I got home after 9pm and travelled alone). Lift access and clean hotel. Not the most luxurious but still modern. I will definitely be staying again"
