"The best place to be around châteaus in the area"

"I selected this property 20 kilometres outside Bordeaux city so we could relax at the property and enjoy their in-house restaurant as there are NO other restaurants close by. We checked in at 4 pm. At 5 pm we went to enquire about booking for dinner and were informed the restaurant was FULL. No options to eat on site. Clearly they had not left room for their guests to eat or enquired if we wished to eat on site. Instead we had an hours round trip to find dinner and could not enjoy the hotel at all. "

"Considering it is a place out in the country, with no stores or cafes nearby. I believe there should be some coffee/tea and especially water in the rooms. It was a very warm few days (over 90 degrees F/30 degrees C) and there was no water provided, and there were no glasses in the bathroom. The internet does not work well and I had to teach an online class which could not happen. Do not expect to connect to the internet. "
