"This is a lovely old property in a quiet ,rural location . It is not really a hotel but more a very elegant bed and breakfast / chambre d’ hotes establishment with a.charming proprietor. Excellent in its own way , with an especially good breakfast . "

"A great one night stay booked as a stopover to break up a longer journey. So easy to get to from the main highway, parking right outside our room and a very comfortable night stay. We loved the window shutters that helped make the room dark for a great sleep. Staff were incredibly welcoming and so good with children. The restaurant was great for an evening meal. The location next to the airfield was fab to watch a few small planes land and it provided some great child entertainment! "

"This is a simple, efficient, friendly and well-run hotel. Also has an excellent restaurant for a hotel of this size. In fact I literally just stayed at the Ibis Styles Châtelaillon-Plage which has a spa, a pool and is near the beach - a nice hotel too, but its restaurant really is pricey and mediocre. The Ibis Abbeville, supposedly a lower standard absolutely beats it hands down with regard to service and its restaurant."

"The hotel itself was quaint, clean, and easily accessible. however they did not have dedicated parking for the establishment and you have to be sure you park in the correct colored parking slots or you can be ticketed."

"Such an idyllic and beautiful place surrounded by stunning lakes and lush forests. It was truly a beautiful one night stay that I wish could’ve lasted longer. We will surely be back for a longer stay as there was so much that myself and my son (8) wanted to do like paddle boarding, pedal boats and horse riding too! My only negative was being surprised with a €300 deposit which was not mentioned on the website I booked through (hotels.com). The pod which we stayed in required a bit of maintenance, for example there was a curtain that wouldn’t close because of a missing rope to hold it in place and also the ladder screws on one side were very loose and not too safe and it didn’t feel the cleanest as I did need to sweep the floor myself upon arrival. The last comment would be to offer a fan in the pod as in the hot weather it was quite uncomfortable and being above the river I didn’t want to have the window open all night due to mosquitoes. Despite this we will definitely be coming back to visit again one day and hopefully bringing more family as it’s such a great place, thank you!"
