"Gite au calme avec 5-6 chambres dans une longère. Chambre au confort basique. Lits de 190cm. Une TV de 50cm, des prises, une armoire. Une salle d'eau avec cabine de douche et WC. Une salle à manger chaleureuse pour apprécier le petit déjeuner très complet (viennoiserie, gateaux, yaourts maison, confitures maison...). "This chalet has a lovely view of the lake and the wooded hills. A lovely view at breakfast and during the evening meal. The chalet was very well appointed with all necessary utensils. While I loved the lake, trips to Puy de Dome and Massif de Sancy were also within an hour's drive. All in all a lovely introduction to the Auvergne."

"We enjoyed our stay here -- it's a nice house with a great view, and we appreciated being able to use it as a base for exploring this part of the country. We had no concerns at all -- everything about the property was exactly as described. The remoteness is part of the appeal -- though it does mean that it's not easy to pop out to a shop for something you might have missed/forgotten. With good planning, it's a really appealing place."

A really nice base for exploring the area
