"Wonderfully situated within the Dordogne valley with lots of chateaux and other tourist attractions to visit. The only downside of this hotel was the same menu every evening. They usually change it once a month! Also, no assistance to gain access to their wonderful swimming pools as there were no steps to get in our out. This was commented upon when leaving and they assured us this would be brought to the attention of the management. I sincerely hope so as I was not the only one to require help to get lowered in and hauled back out!"

"The hotel was lovely we were given a newly refurbished room with a fantastic walk in shower. The owner and his wife could not have been more helpful. They were cheerful and chatty and very likeable. The hotel room was on a main road but was easily walkable into the city. "

"The hotel is in an excellent location with a 5 minute walk to the historical centre of Sarlat. The hotel has recently been beautifully refurbished. Breakfast is of a very high standard and great value for money. There is public paid parking in front of the hotel and you can also book paid secure parking from the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. There is a bar area that is competitively priced. We would definitely stay here again if in the area."

"We had a magical stay in January and had wonderful and rapid communication with the owners about our check in and check out. The Gite has everything you need and it's such a cosy and idyllic setting. We plan to stay again very soon!"

"The hotel is In an ideal location and the staff were most welcoming. We chose to dine in as the meals were excellent and reasonably priced and the service good. Our room was good and the rate fair. It could however benefited from a small kettle to make a hot drink."

"When Mieke welcomed us, we felt immediately at home she couldn't have done more to make us feel at home and this continued through the week, checking on us and providing us with cooling fans, advice on places to see and anything else we needed. The property rustic with huge amount of character. It is in a very rural quiet setting but within an easy drive of places of interest in the Dordogne and Vezere valleys. Would definitely recommend if traditional is what you are after."
