"Around 2006, the owners, Jacqueline and Daniel, decided to turn an old stone house near their own place into a Gite. The work was done with a lot of care. The main area has a master bedroom and bath. For families with children, the attic space has an additional 3 beds and a half-bath. Off the kitchen-dining area is a large enclosed garden with table and chairs for outdoor eating. "WiFi was not working and had not been working for some time. We were not told prior to our stay. Both showers do not have the facility to fix the shower head in position so this makes showering difficult. The sinks in the main house bathroom are broken, the waste plungers do not work. You will be asked to clean the pool but there is no mention of this in the booking information. The wooden steps up to the pool are very slippery when wet and in poor condition so need replacing. "Nous avons passé un tres bon sejour dans ce gite, agréable et bien équipé pour des enfants et bebes (il y a notamment des jeux pour enfants à disposition). Les enfants ont apprécié également pouvoir aller voir les animaux (lapins, dindons, anes, vaches... et petits chatons dans le jardin !). "A very special location right at the base of the castle walls, and easy to travel out from by car to see the region. Gracious hosts who were very helpful. Very comfortable accommodation which was well equipped for self catering. Loved our stay and highly recommend."
