Minimum basic property
The property did not have the appeal to ever make me book it again. The exterior was very unattractive. It was dirty with peeling paint over turned flower pots. Zero curb appeal. In fact it looked abandoned. The host failed to mention there are no bathrooms on the first floor of the home. Which is very problematic when you are traveling with two elderly people who had to try and climb stairs every time they needed use the bathroom. The shower door in the master bed room was not mounted properly and was held in place with cardboard at the top. The bed in the master bedroom was so hard it felt like sleeping on plywood. There was minimal effort put into the presentation of the house. There were shopping bags used in the waste baskets instead of garbage liners. There was only one was cloth and one bathing towel allotted for each guest, which would have been fine, but the washing machine was out of order so no way to wash and reuse the towels. I also felt as though the a/c that was bragged about on the description was being controlled remotely so we were unable to adjust the temperature to our comfort while we were there. The entire stay was very underwhelming. The host put no effort into making sure that this felt like a comfortable home. Everything felt very cheap and minimal. I would not stay here again. I choose this location for it’s proximity to my family that lives in the area. I have photos to support everything I am saying.
