The Falls Of Dochart Inn

10/10 Excellent

"This place should be on your short list of places to stay in the area!! I learned from talking to the young lady that worked there that the building itself was 600-800 years old. It was well maintained while keeping it's old world charm. We slept with the windows opened and could hear the falls across the street all night. My wife enjoyed a long hot bath in the claw foot bathtub in the room. If you eat dinner there, go for the smoked salmon linguine. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. I want to stay there again when I have more time to explore the area. I 10/10 can't recommend this place enough!"

"This is a lovely stay. Not super fancy but just very relaxing and nice place to be. Recommend a quiet night to get away from it all!"

"We stayed for two nights. The room was good but we noticed a moldy smell coming from the bed. The smell was coming be from the duvet or the mattress but could be the wall by the bed. Swimming pool lockers need upgrading , I couldn’t open the locker as the loch was so old . But the gym and marina was good and updated and modernized"

"Lovely hidden gem, staff were all very nice . Afternoon tea was great value for money with great selection of food (alcohol optional) Walk into town only 10 mins away (could be doing with better signs to find your way back) Lodge with hot tub - amazing - clean property could be doing with a little TLC but didn’t not spoil the experience."
