This apartment is located in the Bristol Residence, a former hotel. There are steps leading up to the shared entrance door. You walk through the entrance "L" shaped hallway which leads to the apartment entrance door. Adjacent to the door will be a table providing hand sanitiser and anti-viral misting spray for use on all luggage entering the apartment. Inside the apartment, the lounge and each bedroom offers mountain views, from the lounge there is access to the balcony where there are extensive, wonderful views of The Jungfrau, Silberhorn and Lauterbrunnen valley.

Please be aware that Wengen is a car free village, the only access is via train or by foot. Any cars must be left in the village of Lauterbrunnen at the cost of the guest.

DIrections:
Easy walking distance from the railway station, only about 450m, however if you have a lot of luggage take a taxi. It will only take a few minutes but after a long journey it is probably a great idea!
From the railway station, follow the road to the right, go past the Coop and go UNDERNEATH the railway bridge, turn left after the bridge following a gravel track road (Architect Heinz Kammer has an office on the left hand side), walk about 300m and the track splits, stay to the left then walk up short but steep hill (Millenium is on the right hand side) that bends to the left then right also quite steep climb (there is a house on the left at the bend). The Bristol building is directly in front.
I follow Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol. Significantly increased cleaning time to meticulously prepare the apartment for arrivals, this includes wearing protective gear to prevent cross contamination, anti-viral cleaning and electrostatic procedures, I use extensive cleaning checklists and provide extra cleaning supplies so you can clean as you stay. There is a vacuum cleaner and also a floor mop with bucket. I leave the apartment sealed for arrivals. All guests will be asked to mist all luggage with anti-viral spray and use hand sanitiser (which will be left on the table next to the apartment door) before entering the apartment.
All outdoor shoes must be left in the shelving in the communal hall, adjacent to the apartment entrance door.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the apartment and the shared entrance hall. There is access to the wash room at basement level where the washing machine and dryer are located. These can be used during your stay but are payable (coin operated machines), booking a time is also required as these are shared facilities for the whole building. As this apartment is located on the ground floor, there is no access required to the lift in the building unless you wish to use the laundry facilities.
Check In is between 16.00hrs - 19.00hrs and Check Out is NO LATER than 10.00hrs on date of departure.

This apartment is located within a larger building, noise should be kept to a minimum whilst entering at all times, and in line with Swiss Regulations, there should be no noise between the hours of 10pm & 7am. The main/front entrance door should be locked at all times.
General: We ask that as guests, you leave this apartment as you found it. If there is any damage, please let me know before you check out. Please follow the check out procedures as noted on the app and within the information booklet in the apartment.
People in Wengen: Speak Swiss German with quite a heavy accent, most understand English.
Shopping & Eating: We have a Coop supermarket for all essentials, a smaller local supermaket called Dorflade (see note below), a bakery, a jewellers, a craft shop, a photo shop & several sports shops. There is a Post Office & a couple of banks, both with ATM's. There are several bars & restaurants throughout the village.
Note: The DORFLADE have most food items & make home deliveries free of charge if you purchase more than CHF 50.
Bedding, Towels: On departure, please strip the sheets, duvet cover, pillowcases, and any other material items and place in the bath for collection.
Cleaning Materials: All are housed in the hallway cupboard along with a vacuum cleaner and a mop with bucket. I ask you to refrain from REMOVING the cleaning the materials for the apartment. Guests will be charged for replacements if REMOVED.
Washing Machine & Tumble Dryer: please do not use this overnight as it will disturb other guests.
Doors & Keys: There are a number of steps leading to the front door, this always locked, so don't forget your keys. You will be given a set of keys per bedroom booked which must be returned at checkout.
Smoking: Please do not smoke inside or out.
Garbage/Trash: Please ensure ALL trash is removed from the apartment before you leave. PET bottles can be recycled at the Coop, cardboard & glass at the recycling centre adjacent to the railway station. Everything else need to be thrown out using a GREY or WHITE tax bag, these can be purchased at the Coop, you need to ask for them at the counter. The closest place to leave your trash is at the collection point next to the railway bridge, as you are heading towards the apartment, it is on the left hand side before you go under the bridge. There are 2 sliding wooden doors. Please place the tax bags into the metal containers.
