De la Paix
10/10 Excellent
"Unassuming but once you get in it looks like the Waldorf Astoria with ample hallways and classic furniture outside. The rooms are comfortable and forget all the rest because the view of lake Geneva takes your breath away. Train station is about 4’ walking and in two stops you find great nightlife. Walk 20’ down and you hit the water with all the fun and relaxing things to do. Country life is the same distance in the opposite direction. Staff is nice and helpful and did their best to make my short stay magical."

"This property is close to the metro with a nice view of old town cathedral and lake Geneva sunset. We had a family room, it was quite spacious. The bed was also comfortable. The only thing is that we wish there could be some furniture for us to sit to enjoy a drink with the nice sunset view."

"The location was convenient and close to the metro. Our bathroom was extremely small with a high tub, why any hotel puts tubs in instead of showers I’ll never understand. There are several buildings and the pictures are deceiving. The hotel picture on the website isn’t the one you will be staying in. Beware that one pictured is a block away and is where the spa is. Pool was not heated at the building we were in. Staff could have been more friendly."

"Very nice hotel in a convenient location (close to the train station and metro and not very steep climb compared to other hotels in the area). This is an older property but very well maintained and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. They even had coffeemaker and a fridge which was not the case with other Swiss hotels I stayed in. Elevator was very handy. Overall, it is a great place to stay"

"Loved it!!! Only downside; Coming from the train- was all uphill on cobblestone with luggage!! My husband managed it but not for the faint of heart. Beautiful hotel, room was awesome, comfortable beds and very clean. Loved the choice of restaurants here too. Kept our luggage after checking out so we could see the town. Highly recommend!"

"Hôtel relativement bien situé, à proximité de plusieurs restaurants et du métro, avec également un stationnement à proximité. La chambre était un peu petite, mais confortable, avec une agréable petite terrasse. Nous avons aussi apprécié qu’ils aient gracieusement retiré les frais d’early check-in. Le petit déjeuner était assez varié et bien fourni. Seul point négatif : la climatisation a cessé de fonctionner lors de notre dernière nuit et il faisait malheureusement très chaud dans la chambre, ce qui a rendu la nuit moins confortable. Dans l’ensemble, une bonne expérience et un hôtel bien situé pour un séjour à Lausanne."
