"This place was super cute and clean. Communication with the owner was good. It was definitely appreciated that we had a dedicated parking spot. "We arrived a little later than planned due to a 2 hour flight delay but were greeted enthusiastically by the owner’s mother who spoke no English. We muddled through the walk through of this amazingly beautiful trulli but later the owner and her daughter came and explained a little more in English. The trulli is picture postcard beautiful both inside and out. I like to cook so found the kitchen a little lacking. I did however learn to use a Bialetti caffitiera and cook porridge on the stove...

"The trulli is a quaint, comfortable, attractive property. It is compact, but has everything you need for an enjoyable vacation. The outside area is private. It is a perfect place to relax, enjoy a glass of wine and read a book. My only quibble is that the property could use use a new shower head. Highly recommended."

"We had a fantastic stay. Check in with Ivo was thorough, he gave us loads of useful recommendations & was on hand throughout via what’s ap. House is clean and generally well equipped. There were a couple of things I thought were missing..chopping board, ice tray, coat hangers (we asked for more & got them next day) & for me the bathroom lacked space/shelves for toiletries. Be careful on the narrow, stone stairs (3 flights), especially the bottom step which isn’t illuminated like the others....

"The property is even more amazing than the pictures. The ambience is not captured in pictures. Everything is very well kept. Arnauld was great at communication and providing information prior to our arrival. The cherry on top is Maria Lucia, property coordinator/ chef. "The property is excellent - fantastic facilities in every respect. We had no issues with the electricity when there (something which some earlier reviews flagged) and everything worked perfectly at all times. Location excellent for exploring Puglia. Unrelated to the property in some ways (and not something which can be helped), the only thing to watch out for is the mosquitos when out in the countryside - being repellant and cover up."

"What a beautiful place to stay and explore the area. Just outside the main tourist drag and close to lovely unspoilt bars and restaurants. The trullo itsself is gorgeous. "We had the most amazing stay at Antico Mondo! The staff was beyond friendly and very helpful. We came to Poligano a Mare during the town’s yearly parade which made it difficult to hire a taxi for our ride back to the airport. The kind man at the front desk, Emio, offered to drive us himself. I don’t know what we would have done without him! Our room was lovely and we even had two balconies attached which was a pleasant surprise! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. Thank you Antico Mondo! Hopefully we’ll be able to come back someday! "
