"There was black mould in bedroom 3 and in the bathroom. This meant we had to move the bed as black mould is dangerous. The fridge was off when we arrived and took a long time to chill. There were no teaspoons. No hand towels anywhere and the bed springs had gone in 2 beds. The sheets were so old they were rough and bobbly. "We were very impressed with the house. Spacious, lovely decorated, very well equipped. Lots of books and games but we were lucky with the weather enjoying the places of interest around the Bude and Bude itself. Just one issue- strong scent of dump on the arrival but overall everything excellent. Thank you"

"A wonderfully historic house with an equally wonderful garden, location and views. So very peaceful. Only a quick drive to Launceston for provisions. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. Lots of games for the garden and indoor board games for family fun. It was hard to drag ourselves away to go enjoy all the fun things to do in the area. The owner provided a very comprehensive list."

"Just the sweetest little cottage that is in the best location for all Padstow has to offer. The parking space directly outside the property is a massive bonus. The cottage is very comfortable and is extremely well equipped - we had everything we needed. Four of us stayed and there was plently of room. Jules who owns the cottage was very helpful answering all my questions regarding the cottage, local area and restaurants etc. We would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone."

"Cottage has everything you need, however I wouldn't let my dogs or children swim in the lake as it looked disgusting, the promised dog shower has been removed so we couldn't shower our dogs. The cottage is in the middle of a working farm & although we didn't mind listening to the tractors & farm animals it was spoilt a little when one of the dogs was howling next door. "The property is situated in a stunning location , beautifully laid out property. The kitchen has everything you you could possibly need. Communication with Mark was excellent. Our weather was mixed but it didn’t stop us walking, paddle boarding, swimming or sight seeing ."

"My second stay was as good as the first! The cottage is well-equipped, very clean and within easy walking distance of the beach, canal and town centre. The Wi-Fi works perfectly as does the tv, cooker, hot water etc. A designated parking place is a real bonus for a town like Bude as is the outside space with table and chairs."

"Property overall a lovely place and great location to access places in the area. Pub/ restaurant on site and local shop. It states that there is a hot tub, This shouldnt be advertised as there is a hot tub because there isint. This didnt effect us and our stay but some people may look for this as a option and with it stating there is a hot tub, Unfortunately its false advertisement. Overall a good stay and wouldnt put us of staying again but the discrption needs to be changed."

"The house was very small but beautifully appointed. Parking at the top of a hill may cause problems for some but a slightly longer walk was much flatter and we took the car halfway down the hill to unload. All the rooms were decorated with love and both the living room and bedroom were very comfortable. The welcome pack was lovely too. The location was great, with pasties, beer and other treats on the doorstep. Highly recommend, so long as you’re okay with stairs."

"Nice little bungalow in a quiet area of Polzeath. Furniture was comfortable. Well fenced in garden for the dog to enjoy. Issue with toilet that was speedily fixed. Very steep gravel access road, not for the faint hearted. Overall a good property at a fair price, I would stay again."
