The property is a converted historic house and has been beautifully renovated into a boutique b&b in a great location. Didn't see a soul, except at breakfast (including check in). Breakfast was lovely, and the Conservatory is a wonderful space. Room was comfortable, but the only window was in the bathroom area (with a frosted glass door to let light into to room). Not a problem as we spent little time there other than sleeping!!

This was a friendly, cozy hotel with great staff and a congenial atmosphere. The food at breakfast was great, as was the environment. The rooms were entirely adequate, though you won't call them luxurious. Overall, it was a great stay with a uniquely warm vibe.

Perfect hidden gem

The hotel is located centrally to the cbd. Rooms are comfortable with own ensuite, tea and coffee. There is also a large conservatory / common area where you can relax. The breakfast provided is next level. The staff (particularly Zoe) were super helpful. If i couldve stayed longer i would.

Beautiful small inn.

Lovely small hotel/inn. Information was communicated to us promptly about check in process and parking as there is not a front desk. Our room was very nice although a bit small but fine for a night or two. The common areas are lovely and the breakfast was wonderful. We would definitely stay again. The location is also very good.

Beautiful heritage building opposite city park and Design Tasmania. We had one of the front rooms facing the park which was nicely appointed and light. Breakfast was nice and healthy. Staff were helpful and friendly. Overall very pleasant stay for us. However, we were travelling with friends who had a room without external windows other than in the bathroom. They found their room rather dark

Easy self check in,off street parking.Fresh real milk in fridge- enough for several hot drinks.Also able to make hot drinks in lounge/breakfast area.Fresh fruit available in breakfast area at all times.Plenty of tourist information available and good recommendations for places to eat.Comfortable lounges for sitting to chat, read in conservatory.Breakfast tray prepared and left in dining area- boiled eggs,toast,brewed coffee and pots of tea prepared by staff in morning.

Despite looking, from the outside, like a redecorated 'Fawlty Towers', this is a real 'find'. Everything was spotlessly clean, immaculately tidy and you could feel any stresses just drift away. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to get out of it this morning. The breakfast offering was simple, but perfect. I couldn't fault the Florance and would happily recommend it to anyone.
