"Pretty well always guaranteed a pleasant stay at any Grand Chancellor Hotel. Launceston is no exception. Very nice rooms. In great location and parking is only $6.00 per night. Highly recommended."

"Impossible to check in. Showed up before end of office hours (which is very different to the hours listed on Expedia), nobody in the office, nobody to check me in, stumbled across managed by chance after 40 minutes who shut his door in my face saying he wasn’t working , and found me again later on to let me in. No other backpackers staying here, mainly pensioners or drunk 14 year olds. Would not recommend. "
