"Great little cabin.plenty big enough for 2 The shower stall was a little tight but the room was clean and very comfortable. My wife and i had the trout for dinner. I cant rave enough about it. I can highly recommend this hotel. "

"Overall a great , clean, spacious property. Room was clean and bright, comfortable beds. Dining and kitchen area is very spacious and spotless. The only thing we didn’t like much was the bathroom situation, two showers in one bathroom so if one person is using shower, you have to wait even though there is another shower in there. It’s also a bit tricky to find the house at night so definitely keep that in mind if you will be arriving late. "

"We arrived very late (past midnight) and it was an OK place to stay for a short time. Rooms very basic and boiling hot with super flat pillows. Had trouble sleeping. Shared bathroom smelled of raw sewage and was out of body/ hair soap. One communal hairdryer which was available when I needed it. Shared baths weren’t as crowded as I expected but it was off season. Could be an issue during busier times. Reception was closed when we got there so you needed to have cell service or WiFi calling to be...

"This guesthouse is very good for the area and type of accommodation. Very friendly and quiet. No hassle Or waste of time to check in or out. Dinner was amazing and above average in Iceland (balance quality-price was quite good). Breakfast very good (by far very close or even better that most 4*hotels that I have ever been). Very cozy and warm room in a particular cold area."

"This was our second trip to Iceland for hiking. This place is amazing! Lots of room, very comfortable and quiet. Very modern, clean, and well-laid out. Great eating area, plenty of room for relaxing, and great windows with a spectacular view. We launched from here to hike at Glymur Canyon, Haifoss Falls, and Skogafoss trail, all under a 2 hour drive. Also, very close is a great hike called Midfell at Fludir. Easy drive to Vic.
