Mit dem Auto kann man von hier aus zahlreiche Traumschleifen (ausgezeichnete Wanderwege) ansteuern. Frau Scholtes hat uns freundlich empfangen und kümmert sich rührig um das Wohl ihrer Gäste. "Wir waren mehrere Tage dort und hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Lage in Gerolsteiner in gut und der Check-in war ebenfalls unkompliziert. Leider war bei der Ankunft die Wohnung sehr kalt und es dauert bis zum nächsten Tag, bis es angenehm wohlig war. Im Winter mit Kleinkind nicht so optimal gelaufen. Wir hatten zudem nicht gesehen, dass die Bettwäsche nur über ein Wäschepaket erhältlich war. Dankenswerterweise wurden uns von der sehr freundlichen Vermieterin privat Bettlaken gebracht,...

"We stayed at Leiwen for 6 days and had a fantastic time. It is a quaint, little German town on the Mosel. We walked everywhere in the town: information center, bakery, grocery, pubs, and restaurants. Took a bus to Treir, Mosel river cruise to Berncastle, car trip to Berg Eltz castle. The cottage was much more than we imagined. It had a very comfortable living area with back yard and patio."

"Very nice. Only drawback is that they don't do breakfast (there is a good kitchen with everything you need if you have supplies). There is a coffee machine and there's a bakery just up the street that was open even on Sunday morning, so it isn't a disaster if you don't come equipped."
