"Hotel Jezero is the grand old lady of Bohinj. It's been here a while and in some ways it shows (eg room doors are locked with proper keys, not electronically) but it's still a fabulous hotel. Step outside and you're right on the lake, location can't be beaten. The pool and sauna are lovely, the breakfast has a lot of choice and I really appreciated the seeds and fresh and dried fruit options. I got upgraded to a twin room and it was very spacious."

"We had a lovely stay at Vila Alpina. The room was clean and spacious the bed was comfy and there was plenty of parking. The communal outdoor space was really nice. The Vila is a short walk to the lake and the nearest restaurants, and about a 25 minute walk round to the larger town centre. The man on reception was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us lots of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do."

"An oasis of tranquility and authentic Alpine architecture in a very busy touristy town. Super great owners and staff, spotless clean, short easy walk to town and the lake, quiet and peaceful. "The 2-bedroom family suite with bled island and castle view was a tight space for a family of four and was in my opinion not worth the high price. On hindsight, renting a more spacious apartment would have been more comfortable and affordable. Good shower pressure but a small single bathroom.
