"We were lucky enough to book a room with an Eiffel tower view and it was totally worth it. If available do not pass it up. Our room on the seventh floor had panoramic views of Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur and the Seine on one side and the other had views of the Eiffel tower and the Pantheon. Stepping onto the balcony to hear Notre Dame's bells or being able to watch the Eiffel tower light show during our first time in Paris was special. The proximity to Notre Dame, the metro, and being minutes away from the center of Saint-Germain and the Latin Quarter was superb. Brownie points for having a Monoprix around the corner to stock the room with necessities.
Yes the building is old, and some spaces like the elevator are small but after all its Paris, the city has been around for centuries! We had no issues with any of the amenities including the air conditioning. The elevator was broken when we arrived on Saturday but the staff was still kind enough to send our luggage up to our room. By Monday the elevator was repaired.
This is not a Marriot or Hilton but I think its an excellent boutique option when staying in Paris, you cannot beat the location and coziness."
