"Clean, basic hotel rooms. Breakfast was also basic, but sufficient. The coffee was pretty bad, even for hotel coffee, but that wouldn’t stop us from staying there again."

"I would give this a 20 star rating if I could! We had three families: six adults and four kids under six. Plenty of room inside and shaded outside to enjoy our time there. We had the hottest days of the year so far at 95 plus! We were so thankful for AC in the bedrooms! And because we had a welcome basket with s’more makings, we had a bonfire when the temp dropped to 92 TJ was so helpful in answering all my questions before and after we arrived. We brought our pontoon and fishing boat so did lots of swimming and fishing. Plenty of room for both on the dock. We also brought a water table for the kids which they enjoyed in the large shaded yard. Everything you need is provided—just bring your toothbrush and have fun! Thanks for a memorable vacation TJ!"

PARADISE NORTH: LOG HOME CABIN IN BRAINERD, MN

"Beautiful cabin that was perfect for my family. Accommodations were clean and modern. The hot tub and backyard were great for evenings together! Proximity to Paradise Resort made for a fun atmosphere. Cabin is not right on the beach so be prepared to seek out public beaches if you want to enjoy more swimming time. Whipple Beach in Brainerd was excellent!"

"They tried to give me a double bed room. Not happy so they game me a queen like I booked. My husband could smell cat smell in room. The shower head was terrible. I am 5' 6" and It hit me in between my shoulders. Not happy!! A person with a bad back would have had terrible problems with this shower! If using these rooms for extended stay that is fine but when people can smell cat it's bad. Also trying to fall asleep was awful because of the poor lonely cat across the hall crying at the door. Before an unsuspecting person books a room please forewarn them. That would be the proper way to handle this. You should close your doors if you cannot run it properly and offer to sell to someone who is responsible and go do your slumloarding someplace else!!"

"The place was very clean and sits close to the waters edge. The host was very helpful and responsive. There were a few things needing attention that the host addressed right away. The handle fell off one side of the oven - easy fix with tightening a screw. The hot tub was treated the day of so we weren’t able to use right away but it cleared up by the next morning. The coffee maker wasn’t working properly (gets plugged) so we ended up going in to town for coffee instead. Super spacious and lots of updates. The view from the deck is super peaceful and we recommend the property."
