"When it says transportation provided to train and airport that means you have to pay a cab driver 25.00 for the train station and 50.00 to the airport. Helpful info. Ask for Sergio as your taxi driver. He is so sweet! This is an awesome place to go and stay and relax. It's beautiful and maybe just plan one day into Florence."

It was a shame the bar wasn’t open earlier and it would have been nice to have a coffee during the day, maybe reception staff could have done this? "A beautiful hotel located approx 25 min walk from ponte vechio bridge. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Dogs are welcome. Breakfast was continental with plenty of choice. Pool area clean. 2 shaded areas about 6 sun beds were out when we were there plus deckchair type seats. You are given a towel to use by the pool on arrival. "This is the place to stay while you are in Florence Italy. Located right next to the famous Pontevecchio bridge. The staff accommodate you with whatever you need from transportation to suggestions for restaurants. There are so many choices for breakfast, kept us full most of the day."

"Wonderful stay at Hotel Balestri in Florence. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was incredible every morning—fresh juices, perfectly scrambled eggs, spectacular bacon, and great yogurts. The bar was fantastic too; the bartender mixed excellent cocktails.
