"A great historical property which is not too far from the main roads. A converted church, so voices tend to carry. Great for solo travellers because you can get a room for one person. Bathrooms have all amenities, but could use a larger floor mat outside of shower, floors were a little slippery. Inside main quarters, beautiful stained glass and ceiling features. "The property was right at the bus stop, making it easy to get to the city center and elsewhere. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and communication with the host was frequent and clear. The kitchen had a stove and microwave but no toaster, frying pan, or spatula to turn foods. We made do with what was there. Overall, it was a good stay."

"I booked this Hotel for easy access to Edinburgh for the Edinburgh marathon on Sunday 26th. The hotel was a good location, check in was easy and efficient, meal options are limited although I had a nice big Pizza the day before the race and there is a Morrisons which is a 10 minute walk and easy access to the Tram. The hotel staff were friendly and in particular a guy called Maris who offered me some complimentary snacks for the marathon which was a nice touch. He was also very friendly and efficient. "
