"We rented to see what living off the coast and into the hills would be like. The set up is great, all amenities there were well looked after and we felt we had the place to ourselves even though there were other guests. Very peaceful and night and great for star gazing. We did not use the pool as weather was not hot enough, but we did BBQ a couple of times which was lovely. The log burner was a nice feature but was needed at night. For us a little too remote and we liked to be back before dark...

"Brilliant base from which to explore the forested North of Tenerife, just a short hop from picturesque Puerto de la Cruz and loads of good walks nearby. Good access to the main road by car, after the long switchback, but it was too much/long for a stroll to nearby La Matanza de Acentejo in the heat. Hosts Peter and Martina were friendly, but discreet and I couldn't speak more highly of their helpfulness. We had a fab one week stay."

"2 couples from Canada, stayed for a month. This was the perfect place for us. Outside Puerto de la Cruz however within walking distance. Local district had many places to eat and drink. Discount grocery was a short walk, butcher and fruit shops close by. Bus stop out front was nice for getting around. Solid charming working kitchen. Would love to return some day."

"We were greeted very warmly by Irmel and Ronald and given a bottle of wine, some beer as a welcome. Irmel baked incredible goodies and brought them over. As this was our first stay ever on Tenerife, they provided many suggestions for sight seeing, restaurants and events. Watching the monarch’s alight on their flowers in their garden was such a treat. "We enjoyed two wonderful weeks in this property. It was very much as advertised. The property is relatively small, cozy. The location in a small village with no through traffic was a bonus. There is easy access to the major highway system on the Island and easy to access all the areas of Tenerife. Having a dedicated underground parking stall was very helpful. We found finding parking in Tenerife to be very challenging. Lots of driving around to find a place to park, so having our own parking...

"Think Ibiza chill vibes, this place is stunning. The roof top is just spectacular, and the plunge pool and real bonus. The house is very well equipped, but be aware there is no aircon, and I really struggled to sleep in the master. The views down to the sea and the rocky island are wonderful as this place is a good 10/15 mins walk straight uphill from Garachico. The house is in a very quiet neighbourhood and has free parking outside. I will definitely return."

Some of us are at an age where occasional snoring occurs and with 7/8 bedrooms, this meant that 6 of us were able to sleep soundly in our own private room. Bliss!! "We had a fabulous stay in Tenerife. The top floor of this house is quiet, modern and has fantastic views. We slept comfortably and were happy with all of the utensils in the kitchen. The internet is incredibly fast and good for streaming music and shows. We enjoyed the barbeque, which came with all accessories we needed and on other nights, we walked to the town through the beautiful Parque Taoro (lots of climbing, though). "The flat was really nice and spacious and well equipped. However, because of its open plan nature, it was cold despite the owners lending us 2 heaters. It was up 4 flights of steep stairs so many people might find this a problem. It is also high up in the hills and access to and from other areas of the island is very difficult, even with a hire car. The owners were extremely kind and helpful"

"Hotel in ideal position,5-15 mins from supermarket,restaurants,beach and main square. Bus station is 3 mins walk. Checking was easy. Rooms are ok but could do with a update. Swimming pool/area was well kept. I rented a in-room safe which didn't work (battery needed replacing) went to reception and was offered a security box till it was replaced, it was replaced with-in 2-3 hours. I would stay here again because for the price it is ideal. "
