Aire Hotel & Ancient Baths
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel! My junior suite had an upstairs living room, a small balcony, and offered a wonderful view of the City Hall, and the Alcazaba. The staff was very helpful. The complimentary cava and chocolates on arrival was a very nice touch."

Hotel La Perla
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is great value for money. Although the rooms are basic and simple, they had everything I needed - a good shower, a modern bathroom, a clean bed and room, a working (mini) refrigerator and an exterior window. The staff are courteous, welcoming and helpful. I stayed during a heatwave and the aircon was able to cope, keeping the roof fresh day and night. And above everything, the hotel is very centrally-located, right in the centre of Almeria, two minutes walk to Puerta Purchena and the Paseo, near all the tourist and hospitality locations."

Hotel Sevilla

"I was very pleased with my accommodation. I chose a single room for myself which was on the second floor. Apart from a few creepy crawlers in my room, which I reported, the room was cleaned most days. The air con was lovely and I had more than enough space to put my clothes in. I will, hopefully stay here again as it's in a good location for my needs."

La Marmita de Ahlam

"Beautiful place but need to go into it thinking it’s more like an Airbnb. Do Your shopping before you arrive as there is nothing there. The onsite restaurant is amazing but not open often. No breakfast included even though on booking it says it is. You’ll need to buy essentials like milk, coffee, tea, basically everything food wise but it has its own kitchen and fridge freezer and cutlery etc. Amazing views Pool great Waterfall appreciated ! We booked the jacuzzi room and it was lovely. Sleep With shutters closed as you’ll hear every dog and cockerel within miles in the valley. It can be peaceful but not from 04:30!! The air conditioning was welcoming and worked well and was quiet. There’s alot of flies but we bought a huge can of spray to keep them at bay in the apartment. The room doesn’t get cleaned daily but that was fine with us as it didn’t need doing. There is one guy (Jose) who looks after the whole area who speaks no English but very friendly and as helpful as he can be. But I was on WhatsApp with the owner who would relay messages to Jose. If you walk down into the village square (5mins) there is a wonderful kiosk that does great Tapas etc and the locals frequent it nightly which shows how good it is. You’ll need google translate and it is perfectly Spanish speaking only. We went often as the food was wonderful. The prices were extremely low. All in all, we would definitely go back."

Murallas de Jayran Hotel Boutique

"Had the most wonderful 4 nights stay for my birthday. We were welcomed from the off by Annie, who was so friendly and helpful. The accommodation is stunning, so clean and fresh, and welcoming with our room being restocked and refreshed daily. The Air conditioning was fantastic, which is essential in the heat of Almeria. We cannot or wouldn't want to fault anything about the property and our stay/experience. It was simply wonderful, and we will be back when we have our planned road trip through Spain next year. Fantastic."

Apartamentos Torreluz
10/10 Excellent
"This property punches way above its rating. Very well located to old town, Alcazaba, waterfront, shopping district. Very nice room. Almeria is a vastly underrated city. It's one of my favorites. Flat, very walkable, comopolitan and chic, but without a big-city feel. I found free, safe parking up the hill, near the hotel, at "Aparcamiento provisional San Cristóbal". 5 minute walk."

Limehome Almeria C. Hernán Cortés

"Our stay was amazing. The duplex was absolutely gorgeous we could not fault it. There was everything and more you needed for a short or long stay. There was excellent access to the city and surrounding beaches. The booking was easy so was check in and check out. Probably the best place we have ever stayed. We did not want to go home! There was only one negative and that was parking. Plenty of car parks but very expensive! Next time we stay we will not bring a car. Thank you so much for everything. We will be recommending you to everyone Lou & Mike Barnes ❤️ "
