Give it a try

Very nice hotel with superior beds, the breakfast was good and continental. The staff was wonderful and told us many stories about the history of Cyprus. The pool on the roof was great, unfortunately the bar at the pool was closed tonight.

Great long weekend stay at Elysso and Larnaca, good location, with all the amendities required in walking distance, walking distance to the city center too (15-20mins) , very clean , strong wifi signal and very friendly staff, definetely would return

Simple and good enough for shorter stays, of a maximum of 2 nights. Pleasant staff and good service. The bed was absolutely horrible, you could feel the springs in the bed which resulted in poor sleep. In addition, the air conditioning was poor as it is controlled from reception. And there was water leakage from the shower. Alot of noise from the inside and out.. The pool on the roof was good, but they closed it too early in the evening. The location to the center was a bit too far.

The staff working at this one rock to the max. They were very helpful with laundry and calling me a taxi. The only issue that had with this hotel was its location: it was a bit far from the beach and the main drag

The property is clean and quiet. The staff is helpful, but they never respond on E-mail to my questions which are sent many days before my arrival. I had to contact Expedia to contact them. The hotel is also about half an hour walking to the centre of the city. So it is a little bit far, but the price is good.

The property was nice clean. But a bit too basic. Breakfast is very poor. Boil eggs and toast everyday standard. Most times we could not eat it and I paid for it so that was a waste of funds. Tele was on Greek, even though I asked for it be changed they did not.

Budget hotel that - punches above its weight.

This is my second or third stay at Elysso hotel in Larnaca and most likely not my last as the price / quality ratio exceeds expectations. The room was very clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location is also convenient for grocery shopping as it is located between two supermarkets - including a budget friendly Lidl. The beach is a 20-25 minute walk or 5-minute bus ride. I didn't use the pool, but if you don't want to walk to the beach there a rooftop pool available for use. Housekeeping and front desk staff are very friendly and accessible as the front desk is open 24/7.

There was a musty smell when we arrived, but the apartment itself was spacious and had a little kitchenette and our own bedroom with the kids sleeping on the pullout in the main room. For the price we are beyond happy.

Overall, for the price i paid, i would recommend staying here. The staff are friendly and the room was nice enough. However, only two complaints i have is with how the air conditioning works, reception control all of it. You can call them up to turn it on, but this is an odd process. The swimming pool was also closed, it only opens over the summer. This makes sense, but the temperature was 28 degrees in May. Overall, would recommend staying here. It is great value for money!

Same sun as the Radisson, but much lower cost.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the room is large. It is also clean with a balcony and a clean refrigerator. The bathroom has hot water 24/7 which is nice as not all budget hotels In Cyprus have hot water when the sun goes down. Two supermarkets are located close by (5-10 minute walk) including a budget friendly Lidl.

The hotel room was quite difficult for me to breathe in for some reason and smelt a bit musty. It reminded me of an old hotel room in the UK that is specifically designed to keep the heat in due to the cold - unfortunately in Cyprus this isn’t necessary and lighter fabrics and an airy feel is what is needed. The reception staff were nice and the room served its purpose for me.

Room was adequate, small. Needs refurbishment. Aircon controlled by reception. We did not want it on, but it came in noisily during the night disturbing nights sleep. Breakfast is adequate, but no more than that. Enjoyed the rooftop pool.

Solo stay for international football

Booked single room, got large double. Air con not working and not fixed in time there but large room fan provided. Bit far out from Finikoudes but stepcounter enjoyed it and reflected in price. Breakfast is basic but enough and at good price. Worth the price paid and got my purposes overall.

Poorly maintained run-down hotel, worst breakfast

Staff barely had a bit of smile or kindness on their faces. Room looked clean, but hasn't been modernized in probably 40-50 years. Comfortable nice large bed and clean sheets. Overall clean room and very spacious. Bathroom door had a barn door with no handle. A bit uncomfy trying to get out if you closed it! Dirty towels! Toilet not flushing well. No shower curtains, so the water ends directly on the bathroom floor (and stays there), so good luck trying not to slip on it afterwards. Barely enough liquid soap. Poorest worst breakfast ever: they give you 1 slice of poor quality ham, 1 slice of cheese, 1 tiny piece of everything (including 1 olive), but at least 2 slices of bread. It's more like a joke. Hotel is in a poor neighborhood 2-2.5 km from the centre where the attractions are (beach, fortress). Buses barely circulate, so you're most likely to take a 35-45 minute long walk there. Back and forth.
