"Beautiful setting in the country. Not exactly easy to get to since the access road is filled with pot holes, cows and very bumpy. A solid 10 minute drive off main paved road to get to Villa. Host was accomadating but a lot went wrong. It wasn’t occupied for over a month and we were greeted with water on floor in kitchen unknowing of source. Water heater never worked so we had cold showers throughout week. And then our neighbors(cows) came through property overnight and made quite a mess....

"The villa and facilities are as described and the photographs are accurate representations. The property was very clean and the furniture comfortable. Our children made full use of the WiFi and it did not fail their high demands! We loved the pool, beautiful garden & balcony and spent most evenings relaxing here. Be warned - a variety of biting insects emerge at night, so prepare an array of deterrents! Lucca, Pisa, Barga etc are all easy drives."

"Our time in Tuscany was absolutely wonderful, Franco was such a great host, he had a snack and a beverage waiting for us and it was a pleasure to visit with him. "Great property and communication with hosts/managers was clear and easy. A little hard to find the first night when we arrived after dark, and you wouldn’t want to be without a car as it’s too far to walk to the village or train station. Absolutely beautiful views from every window and patio! We loved it and would stay again in a heartbeat."

"We had a fantastic stay, the house has so much character and charm, and we really felt at home. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, chilling out in the lovely pool, which has the most amazing views of the Tuscan countryside, and using the house as a base for fantastic day trips to towns like Volterra, Sienna or Lucca. Andrea was really easy to communicate with and was extremely helpful when one of our family members was ill. Highly recommend staying here!"

"We had the most wonderful stay at the villa which also served as our wedding venue. Giacomo was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure the villa was perfect for our wedding day. The onsite facilities are lovely and very well equipped. The views from many of the apartment windows are absolutely breathtaking. We could’t have found a better venue to host our friends and family in the lead up to our wedding day and as a wedding venue. We truly had the most perfect Tuscan wedding!"

"Beautiful location just 15mins from Pisa and 40mins the coast. Villa was in an beautiful location. But only 10 mins walk to village where restaurants are. Supermarket only 5 mins drive. Villa itself was very spacious and clean. Had all facilities that though worked needed updating. Maybe more fans needed as it was unusually warm. The pool was perfect and the boys loved. WiFi was not great but this was not a big deal for me as it was for the others."

"We booked Enrico's house for a summer trip over to Lucca and it looked so amazing, and had such a lot of outdoor space we had to ask whether it was all private or shared because we couldn't quite believe it. "We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."

"10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. Lots of mosquitos so ensure you pack repellant. Towels to hire. Good quality supermarket 10min walk away. I would definitely stay here...
