"Great spot! So much to see around the area. Parking was a bit tricky, go to the Themes Parking which is roughly 800 feet from the hotel. It’s 15 euros for the whole day but conveniently located. The area around the hotel was amazing! So much to explore. Breakfast in the morning was top notch! Felt very taken care of! "

They don’t have a standard check in process so it was helpful to have text visuals and step by step instructions on how to enter the building. Also there’s parking!! You don’t have to drive around trying to locate a spot or pay anywhere. So nice! Great vibes all around! "

"This place is perfect for a stay off the beaten path. There are a few good restaurants, beach bars, and even a small dance club within walking distance. The property itself has a private beach with push button ordering service. The photo is the private beach area, always had a seat. I can’t complain about anything! We really enjoyed a weekend here. It is 15€ to Heraklion town center. No reason to rent a car."

"Capsis Astoria is very conveniently located. It’s on the bus route to and from the airport so getting there is 1.20€. It’s also next door to the Heraklion archeological museum and on the bus route to Knossos. There are multiple restaurants nearby ranging from casual cafes to fine dining. We highly recommend Pemptos Ntore restaurant just across the way on the fifth floor. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, letting us check in when we arrived at 11 am. The breakfast is substantial. We enjoyed sitting at the pool and having a drink. They have a small version of a Greek windmill on the roof. Very Instagram friendly. We recommend it highly."
