"A lovely break - the house was pretty much as described.The pool is great - the outside eating space is fantastic and there are 3 big fridges to keep everything cold. The living accommodation is great and it really is a lovely house. Tennis court is in good nick - but bring your own racquets and balls as the stuff there is not great.Thierry - who sorts out any issues was great and really responsive. A few small negatives - the oven is pretty useless and I see that previous reviews have mentioned this - a low cost solution that would make things easier for guests. Secondly - there are no restaurants within walking distance as in the description - but some good ones a short drive away. Finally - you have to pay to use the bikes in the photos - 20 euros a bike - just so you are aware these are not included. "

"We had a great stay here at the Well House, the house itself is a great size with all that we needed, the pool was a welcomed extra in the extreme heat we had during our stay, location is perfect for anyone wanting somewhere just a stone throws away from the bussling near by towns, The property managers Sally Anne and Pete, were absolutely spot on, they went above and beyond, accommodating us at short notice and giving us exceptional information about the area, things to do and events, and very quick to respond when we had questions about places to visit, they themselves made our holiday that much more relaxing, Overall we had a great stay! "Very exciting staying in a real old chateau, but with the facilities of a very thoughtful full restoration with modern comforts such as a/c, floor heating and huge and beautiful private bathrooms. "Lovely classic old French house, slightly out of town (very short drive, OK walk) with great pool, top quality table football, table tennis, nice furnishings. One bedroom off by the pool, for better or worse. Riberac is a quiet but nice town, and the house is near the river, across from a small village with a friendly cafe - closed for part of August. Very convenient to supermarket and petrol."

"The photos do not do this property justice. Its a lovely large secluded house in the middle of sunflower fields. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. It was a great location for our extended family getaway. The pool was perfect and provided good shade for the children. There is a sandpit and a wooden lookout that are not pictured, but were a lovely surprise. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommended. "
