"Great escape to the peace and quiet of the NC mtns. Cabin is stocked with everything you need and more. Watch the neighboring cows walk their path or watch the clouds move. Relax and enjoy. Hiking at Grayson Highlands is a must do if you like that activity. Would recommend to everyone. Rosemary's communication was great and appreciated. Fun time. 2nd time renter and will be back. I don't say that lightly either because we hardly ever rent the same place twice."

"We stayed a whole week. Paul our host was so available. Check-In was easy. When we pulled into the driveway we were so happy with our choice. Pictures don't do it justice , its prettier in person. The landscaping is very nice. It's not over crowded with shrubbery. Just the right amount. The bed linens were tip notch. Every bed was so comfortable. It's on a dead end lane so the house is surrounded by forest and it's so peaceful and quiet. The back porch is a peaceful way to view nature. We are bird watchers and were not disappointed. There are lots of deer and fawn that visit the yard in the mornings and walk by in the woods in the morning and the evenings. There's a little dry bed creek with stone work in the back yard for spring overflow and heavy rains. There's a vernal pond that has frogs and salamander. They croak sometimes. All appliances are tip notch as well. I cook alot so I had what I needed. The wi-fi was very good. Lots of apps available to watch on tv. Very cozy cabin. Only 20 ‐ 25 minutes from West Jefferson and Boone. 40 minutes from Blowing Rock We will be back. Robbin Maryland 7/11/26"

"Everything was supplied and where it was supposed to be. Lots of cobwebs inside and outside of cabin but after a good wipe down, it was good to go. The instructions for the satellite and dvd weren’t accurate but once we figured it out there was plenty to watch. It was peaceful and isolated. I would stay again."
