"Hotel was right on the bridge, just by the poll paying station. These instructions would’ve been helpful for finding it. Hotel was lovely. Breakfast was basic, nothing to shout about. Amenities are good but basic. Staff are lovely"

"Room was spacious and amenities good. I found my room very hot. Even with the window open. Also, on check out we were advised there is a ‘discretionary’ payment for the maintenance and housekeeping staff per night that didn’t sit well with me. I think you should be pre warned that you will be asked to do this as it’s quite embarrassing saying no and feels awkward that you are asked to pay towards the staff. If I want to pay housekeeping I leave money in the room. "

"Lovely quiet stay at the Bathen House! Highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel. The staff is friendly and most helpful. We had breakfast here two mornings- sooo tasty and fresh ( must do). We had room #10 the junior suite- and the room was quite large w nice views. The sleep quality was excellent and the location was very handy. The bathroom has a huge soaking tub and shower and everything is spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay here again! Wonderful small hotel."

"Hotel condition and location really good however both being in our seventies, with two full sized suitcases, we were really surprised and seriously disappointed to have been given a half landing room having to lug our suitcases up and down six-seven stairs by ourselves!! Checkin clerk didn’t seem aware or concerned. "

"The staff could not be more helpful and attentive. It was exceptional service. Our room was beautiful and any request we made was handled. The hotel is walking distance to the main sites. You can find street parking but they also offer a valet service which we utilized. The Olive Tree restaurant on site is fantastic and the patio and bar area of the bar and beautiful. I will be back to Bath and I absolutely will be staying here."
