Cons: The location is much further from the city centre than we expected. Be prepared to rely on transportation. Verdict: Ideal for travellers seeking a quiet, peaceful stay away from the city noise. Not the best choice for those who want to walk everywhere."

"Impeccable staff and hotel. Customer service was first rate. 5 minutes walk to tram, bus and funicular into centre of city. You can also walk into the centre from the hotel for the adventurous. Tram back to the airport takes 15 mins. Breakfast at hotel also excellent. Would stay again without hesitation. "

"Fantastic hotel with restaurant and wine options. Breakfast buffet was traditional German, which I love. If you love to bike or hike this location has many options. We were conveniently located to Trier. The owner was very friendly and willing to give advice. Extensive wine list! We arrived late and staff was willing to round up some food in the kitchen for us. Highly recommend and will be returning. I recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner, a “body wash- shampoo- conditioner” combo was provided but I prefer separate products. "
