This #red cottage in Landsort, Sweden is actually a Youth Hostel.

My partner and I stayed here in Autumn and had the whole place to ourselves. Landsort is covered in very explorable old military barracks and small wild apple trees. If you ever want a getaway accessible by public transit from Stockholm, this lovely place will make you feel like you're living in a Swedish storybook.

"We had a great time in the very nice house! The surrounding is extremly calm and perfect for relaxing. The house is very clean and roomy and full of light. The kitchen is perfectly equiped. We enjoyed it and will come back for sure. "

"Ein nettes kleines Häuschen auf der unterhalb von Trosa liegenden Insel Öbolandet. Das Haus liegt auf einem kleinen Hügel, den man über eine Treppe erreicht. Die Gegend ist geprägt von viel Grün und zahlreichen anderen Ferienhäusern. Zum Baden hat man es nicht weit - entweder findet man den Weg zu einem kleinen Badesteg an ruhiges Gewässer oder es geht zum Campingplatz. "This hotel is close to the ferry which goes and comes from Gotland island. We had a good stay here. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the room very nice, and the location very convenient. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again. "

cozy family getaway

"it was a cozy mini adventure! cute and comfortable house of traditional style charmed us, very spacious and adorably chic, having luckily the nicesr weather found outside furniture perfect, eating self grilled food outside:) my dad even managed to get some fish from the pierce!! and we really felt like we had everything to just ourselves, thanks to the owner for giving the space. my big recommendation, and we will certainly come back:)"

Lovely stay.

"Another stay in this delightful hotel. I highly recommend it everything would have been 5 stars except they have single duvets on the beds and the bathrooms are a little bit dated although they are still in good working order. My only other note is that the hotel doesn’t accept card payments or cash for late checkouts. "
