Doubt Charlie Chaplin would have been impressed!

Not so good. The staff did not know much about local parking, places to eat. Breakfast was totally uninviting. Just underwhelming and for that overpriced! I will not stay there again

The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful but that's where it ends I'm afraid. The curtains don't meet in the middle which is just ridiculous! I'm talking a 12inch gap here not even close! and it was a 1st floor room surrounded by apartments so everyone can have a good look in. Well, they could if the lights weren't so poor. The TV is basically an ornament on the wall with no channels configured. There was a fold away table which when unfolded the wooden stand/leg/brace came away from the wall so also totally useless. Another ornament. The toilet seat was loose to the point where it would be better if it was just removed altogether. It was impossible to have a pee without having to hold the lid open. Taking a number 2 was even worse! It was like crapping on horseback the amount of movement you have to negotiate. I stayed 5 nights in total but the housemaid only came round on the second morning and was never seen of again. The decor would have been considered dated in Chaplin's day. The whole place needs gutting and starting over in my opinion. Front of house girl and chap were pleasant enough. They even smiled when they took my money but were probably laughing at me inside though. I didn't complain because I knew there was a chance to review here. In my opinion, if you put someone into a room like this then you must somehow consider this a good service and complaining would have a been a waste of energy. Would I stay here again? absolutely not! You have been warned!

ziemlich runtergekommen, stark renovierungsbedürftig. Lampe fällt fast von der Decke, Waschbecken tropft, Abflüsse unsauber, im Bad nur ein schmales Glasregal als Ablage, keine Möglichkeit Duschhandtücher zum trocknen aufzuhängen. Schlechte Parkmöglichkeit. Frühstückzeit am WE erst ab 8:00. Ich würde dem Hotel eine General-Renovierung empfehlen.
