"The property is exceptionally clean and well stocked. The hosts were easy to communicate with. We had to reschedule our booking due to a tropical storm and the hosts were more than accommodating. "This place is truly an oasis in a beautiful part of the world. The furnishings and kitchen are contemporary and beautifully chosen. The view of the Rappahannock River is magnificent and there's even an osprey nest with ospreys that use it. The bathroom is gorgeous too. The hosts are welcoming and you are greeted with wine, cheese and crackers. I wish we lived closer so that we could stay there more often. Nearby Urbanna is also a great place to eat, take a boat ride, and enjoy the quaint town. "

"Was convenient to my job site and had all the necessary amenities. Arlene was a great, responsive host. 2 small issues- no ac/heat in bedroom, so it can get pretty hot in the summer Lots of moths and other flying bugs Other than that, great place to stay and well worth the price!"

"Myself and a group of friends stayed here for a birthday getaway trip & loved all being able to have our own rooms. One of the rooms does have an entry through the master bedroom. It wasn’t an inconvenience for us, but might be something to note for others. We specifically chose this place for a nice place to enjoy the water. Unfortunately, the ladder is not attached to the dock which made getting in and out very difficult. The water mat had mold on it so we ended up buying pool noodles to use...

"First off, I would like to say that the description is not accurate online. When I got there, the doors were unlocked and the keys were sitting on the counter. The heat didn't work, there was no internet or cell service at all, and the windows had signs that said "do not open, windows broke." The house is very tiny and does not comfortably sleep two grown adults. Unfortunately I will not be staying again."
