"We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!"

"We enjoyed the area where the house was positioned.. a nice quiet neighbourhood..Cockermouth town within walking distance..The house had all the amenities to hand..Always hot water available & nice large white bath towels."

"The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. We have stayed at lots of homes as an extended family group and this was great, with a good location. Only criticism would be that 9:30am is the...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Juniper Hayloft. It was the perfect location - a short walk from the centre of Grasmere and so many lovely walks into the hills straight from the property."

"A beautiful cottage tucked away from the bustle of life. Lovely ambience and the host, Ben, left little touches to welcome us. Close for exploring the lake district. Wonderful stay. Highly recommended. "
