You get what you pay for but overall good. We rented a scooter to get around but you could only rent it from the bus station which was not as convinient.

Great local area

Great local area. There isn't really much to look at the city it self as a tourist. However, it is great place to just relax and chill before you head into the big city. Local market was small but fun to walk around. Foods were good and very cheap. There is a street vendor on the way to the market that sells a fish soup with rice that was really great(add a little bit of hot pepper, and black pepper to it). Hostel it self is at a very short walk from the market but a 100 baht ride from the train station. Owner speaks a English and a great help. He called the songthaw to schedule a ride for me on the morning of my departure. 2 free bottles of water every day, and a free snacks and coffee every morning. Bed was little hard. Other than that it was a good stay. Bargain price for an air conditioned room.

cute little room

Nice and quiet place... I had choice between ground and 3rd floor, I choose downstairs, didn't have to use air con, t'was cool enough with fan... had good sleeps in this small pretty room. Because of proximity of road, earplugs are welcome to sleep early and late (quiet during night). I had to let the door open few minutes to refresh air before to get in (the window open in a garage !). Cleanless: little bit dust, but floor, washroom, sheets, towel, ok. No cockroach, no bugs, no mosquitoes... I appreciate the kindness of owner :)
