"We had a great time at this beautiful historic farmhouse. We loved to be private on this big property with our friends and family, the pool area is very nice and also the dining area.There is a small open building a minute walk from the houses which is for doing joga or exercises which has a fantastic view over the countryside and lake.Communication with Ben was excellant with all our needs.I would recommend Borghetto Calcinaia for everybody who wants to relax with family and friends in a beautiful old Italian farmhouse with fantastic view over the countryside. "

The pool was amazing and the location was perfect for taking day trips to explore several gems in Tuscany. Danny and Jeanette gave us many wonderful recommendations of places to go and see. The cafe in Monterchi, Bar Frizzino, had some of the best pastries we’ve yet to have on our trip through Italy and dinner Ristorante La Pieve Vecchia had incredible food and unbeatable views. We highly recommend staying here!"

"Our stay was absolutely calming and relaxing. The pool is heavenly, especially after a long days travel And great for sunbathing. We love that the villa was located in the countryside, Where it was quiet and peaceful and no hustle and bustle of urban traffic/people. However, We had fairly close access to several towns such as Arezzo, Florence, and Rome. We were very close to the old medieval town of Anghiari, where we had a delightful lunch At a local restaurant and visited Museums and old medieval churches. Our host Lorenzo and his family were Very helpful and made for a perfect stay at the villa. The villa is very safe and secure. It has a full kitchen and a washer and plenty of space to spread out. The night sky in the evening is absolutely beautiful.This is a must stay and visit destination place. We will definitely return next year!!!"
