We will come back here in a heartbeat although we will stay in one of the much bigger luxurious rooms below next time. "

Take away food, shops etc not far away in next town. Accommodation extremely comfortable. Everything you could want has been thought of. Fridge available for milk etc. you can bring in own food to eat in dining room. Breakfast offers numerous choices and it all tastes good. Your own lounge to mix with others. Free access all...

"The hotel is very tastefully decorated and modern the staff very helpful and friendly the food excellent and cost was very reasonable. Unfortunately the room we stayed in was right at the front off the hotel it did have modern double glazed windows but they were useless the traffic outside never stopped until after midnight and restarted around 4 am.I am quite a heavy sleeper but this had to be the worst night’s sleep I’ve experienced at a hotel, the bed looked lovely but we couldn’t turn over...

"There was a power outage overnight the first night we stayed here. Upon realizing that in the morning, because there was no hot water, I tried to contact the manager. It took over an hour for her to respond and all she could tell me was that she couldn't get ahold of her handyman. After 2 hours of waiting with no update from the handyman, we left. I asked for a refund but was refused and I was accused of causing the power outage because I must have plugged in a North American device. This...

"Homely, very welcoming. If you like farms, there were horses, geese, ducks to explore. Also a lovely dog which was very friendly. The area is gorgeous with fields, a lake and so many mushrooms.... so like the traditional fairy toadstools. In the summer, there are several areas for sitting out. Madeline proved very friendly and would do anything to please."

"Good clean room above local pub, better than expected for the price and all the amenities of a 3* hotel or guesthouse. Great breakfast - friendly and welcoming landlord assumed that a fry up was all that was required (he was right). Popular local, full of families and a very traditional local inn atmosphere."
